How it works

A shortlist built around your profile.

The predictor combines your rank, category and home state with previous years' closing ranks, so the colleges you see reflect the seats you can realistically contest.

AIR

Rank or score

Know only your NEET score? We estimate your All India Rank from reported score-vs-rank bands, then predict from there.

QTA

Every college type

Deemed and private universities counselled all-India, plus your home state's government (state-quota) seats — in one shortlist.

CAT

Category-aware

Closing ranks adjust for UR, EWS, OBC, SC and ST so your list reflects the seats you can actually contest.

FIT

Sorted by chance

Each college is graded High, Moderate or Tough against the 2025 closing rank, with fees and location alongside.

Reading your results

What High, Moderate and Tough mean.

Every college is graded against the 2025 closing rank for your category, with a safety margin so a comfortable rank stands out clearly.

High chance

Comfortably within reach

Your rank sits well inside the 2025 closing rank — a dependable anchor for your preference list.

Moderate

Around the cutoff

Your rank is close to the closing rank. Realistic in a good counselling round, but not guaranteed.

Tough / reach

An ambitious stretch

Just beyond the 2025 closing rank. Worth listing as an aspirational choice if the seat matters to you.

Beyond the prediction

A predicted list is a start — not a final decision.

Medical admission is decided across eligibility, quotas, documents and counselling rounds. Edvise helps you turn a shortlist into a plan you can act on with confidence.

Common questions

What students ask about the predictor.

How accurate is the NEET college predictor?

It is a guidance tool, not a guarantee. Predictions use 2025 counselling closing ranks compiled from public sources. Real cutoffs shift every year with the number of seats, applicants and counselling rounds, so always verify against official sources before deciding.

I only know my NEET score, not my rank. Can I still use it?

Yes. Switch to the NEET Score input and we estimate your approximate All India Rank from publicly reported score-vs-rank bands, then predict colleges from that estimate. The estimated rank is shown so you understand the basis.

Does it cover government (state quota) seats?

For several states, yes. Deemed and private colleges (counselled all-India) show for everyone, while government seats are domicile-based — select your home state and the predictor adds that state's government colleges. Coverage expands as more official state data is added; the central MCC 15% All-India-Quota government pool is not yet included.

Why do closing ranks differ by category?

Seats are allotted category-wise (UR, EWS, OBC, SC, ST), so each category has its own closing rank at every college. The predictor uses the closing rank for the category you select to keep your shortlist realistic.

Does Edvise guarantee admission to these colleges?

No. Admission and seat allotment are decided by the relevant counselling authorities and institutions. Edvise helps you build a well-informed preference list and supports you through counselling — without guaranteeing any outcome.
